Martijn Winkler

Martijn (Nijmegen, 1978) is creative director and co-founder of VERTOV. Since 2003, he has been combining online, cross media and audiovisual storytelling, resulting in internationally acclaimed and award winning campaigns (including a Rose d’Or, Webby Award and EMEA SABRE Award). His innovative work oftentimes has a social media component. He is the creator of films, drama series, documentaries and interactives, for brands such as Rituals Cosmetics, ABN AMRO and the ANWB. But also for the public and cultural sector. He was chairman of the Dutch Directors Guild for seven years and is currently a board member of FERA (the European Directors Association), member of the European Film Academy and member of the advisory board of the Art and Cultural Sciences study program at VU University Amsterdam.
