Mediation on the rise.

December 16, 2020 11:07 am Published by

Companies are increasingly opting for mediation to resolve business disputes. Kiki Hirschfeldt, one of the owners of Coebergh, is also trained as a mediator and regularly applies her skills in this area for Coebergh's clients.

This year has shown a substantial increase in the number of parties that prefer solution-oriented mediation over going to court. Since its founding in 2011, ReulingSchutte is a leading player in the field of business mediation and alternative dispute resolution, such as arbitration and litigation support. We used the momentum of the appointment of two new partners and the move to a beautiful new office in Amsterdam to generate attention for the outlined market development - and of course for ReulingSchutte. In addition to a beautiful article in the Telegraaf, there were considerable publications in various business media.

An open conversation about inclusivity and diversity.

Joost Linnemann is CEO of Kennedy Van der Laan, the leading law firm that we have been serving for years with great pleasure. Joost has an extensive network in business, law, politics and science. For example, he regularly speaks to Simone Davina about various social issues. Since 2020, Simone has been combining the position of general counsel of Siemens Energy UK, Ireland & NL with a position on the Board of the Holding in the Netherlands and the operational business in England. For General Counsel Magazine, Joost and Simone had a conversation about inclusivity and diversity. We covered their frank conversation about these highly relevant topics, which are also high on the Coebergh agenda, although there’s still room for improvement.

Sheltersuit

Be Good & Tell It.

Sheltersuit Foundation was founded in 2014 by designer Bas Timmer. This designer, driven by a love for design and people, has been proclaimed as a Next Generation Leader 2020 by TIME Magazine. This non-profit organization designs and produces multifunctional clothing that provides homeless people (including refugees) with immediate protection from the cold and harsh street life.

Coebergh Communicatie & PR is responsible for creating media attention for Sheltersuit by actively communication its’ mission and the way the organization is helping countless homeless people in the Netherlands and abroad. We assist Sheltersuit in formulating a clear and powerful message and we share its’ impressive stories with the right journalists at the right time. This results in qualitative publications that reach the right target groups. Sheltersuit's brand awareness is growing, with a positive effect on donations and valuable collaborations. It enables the non-profit to do what it does best: provide warmth to homeless people worldwide.

We are also very proud to share the news of our client's collaboration with Maison Chloe for their FW2021 collection. Designer Gabriela Hearst and Bas Timmer joined forces and created a stunning and sustainable collection. The proceeds from the items designed by Bas Timmer will go entirely to the homeless people that Sheltersuit is committed to. In this way, high-end luxury and non-profit come together to reach an even wider audience.

Sustainable transformation.

Fort Island Pampus will be the first Dutch UNESCO World Heritage site to become 100% sustainably self-sufficient and fossil-free. With an innovative energy system and a new circular entrance building designed by Paul de Ruiter Architects. We contribute to the realization of this ambitious plan by spreading the news and keeping it 'top of mind', with publications at NOSFDTrouw, De TelegraafNRC, Het Parool, Cobouw and Duurzaam Bedrijfsleven. These wonderful articles provide familiarity with and appreciation for the project, with favourable consequences for funding.

Another great plus is that our PR campaign for Forteiland Pampus is among the finalists for the Amsterdam Communications Award. This nomination is a wonderful example of how rewarding our work can be.

The magical impact of events.

August 25, 2020 2:14 pm Published by

It seems so long ago since we could physically get together and enjoy one another’s company without walking routes, maximum capacities and 1,5-meter restrictions. It makes you long for the days that big product launches, shop openings and other events were business as usual. Looking back, the first production that comes to mind is our PC Hooftstraat Hermès store opening in 2019. Over 400 guests, from all over the world, were invited to visit the store for the very first time and join the extravagant opening party that followed. Events can bring a company's identity, standards and core values to life. Human interaction and real-life experiences are very difficult to replace by their digital counterparts. We can't wait to get back to work on this!

Jumping with Vans.

Initially, the iconic shoe brand Vans was particularly popular with skaters in Southern California. The iconic waffle-like sole provided extra grip on their boards. Today, almost everyone has a pair. The European launch of the "Comfy Cush" - the relaunch of a classic - took place in Hudson’s Bay Rotterdam. A sporting event with a big foam pit where jumpers could make a fantastic and memorable personal GIF, just like the influencers present.

Coebergh likes to support cultural projects that involve young talent. A great example is OBJECT Rotterdam. Since 2010, this annual fair for contemporary art shows work that combines design, art, interior, architecture and fashion. We have been involved from the start and this exhibition, an initiative of curator Anne van der Zwaag, has grown into a leading interdisciplinary design platform that attracts thousands of visitors every year and helps to increase the visibility of artists and designers. We make a proud contribution with our PR efforts.

Interim management in the cultural sector.

Coebergh truly enjoys serving clients in the cultural sector. We took great pleasure in our interim assignment for Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in 2017 and 2018. We supported the press and communication department of this Rotterdam museum in organizing press previews, press trips and other PR activities. For instance, we provided press openings for the renewed arrangement of the museum's permanent collection and exhibitions such as 'BABEL - Old Masters back from Japan', 'Art of Format' and 'Change the System'.

Annexum helps individuals invest in real estate. With 25 funds in five categories and a very personal approach, Annexum assists investors in sectors such as residential real estate, offices, supermarkets and healthcare facilities. Ten years ago, we met Huib Boissevain, founder and CEO of the organization, for the first time. It became a valuable bond of trust. We share Huib’s expertise and vision by using a variety of PR-tools for which we create the right content. As a result, Huib and Annexum feature in news and trade media quite regularly.
